Filmmaker's Compass Podcast is the brain child of Dustin Garbaciak (D-Man) and Christian Pedersen (C.P.) two filmmakers, and best friends, who love movies.

Growing up in the Midwest, they made movies together and dreamed of one day moving to Southern California to pursue film. As roommates, they studied film in college and made short films and web-series in their spare time. As they began working in the industry, the realized how much they never learned in film school, as some aspects of the industry could only be learned by experience.

So they started a podcast, and the goal was a simple one. Bring professionals working in the film industry on and have the share their stories and advice, so aspiring filmmakers could learn from their experience. What worked, what didn't work, and what do people need to know to make it as a filmmaker. And of course, they would discuss movies also. FCP may just be getting started, but it is the first step to building a community of filmmakers who love movies and are working together to make their cinematic dreams come true.
